Just when good things happen, things go bad

I guess we’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop with all the good stuff happening and it finally has. Scott’s truck broke down several times over the past two weeks and cost us a bunch of money. It was also the money we were setting back to cover next months rent. So now for the next two weeks our funds are tapped completely and it’s going to be hard to pull through.
Why is it we just have bad luck all the time?!?
