Continuing story of the broken truck

Last week Scott got the truck fixed relatively quickly and everything was hopefully set since then. Until today.
He woke me up this morning and asked me to give him a ride to the gas station where his truck was. Seems the air conditioner compressor had locked completely up and wouldn’t let the engine start. So he had to take the car and get another belt but this one wouldn’t include the A/C. As I dropped him off at the gas station he realized the license plate on it was missing as well?!?
Grrrr. so many things at once and not at a good time either.
