My sister goes online
By Rai on Jun 28, 2007 in Life
My sister came over tonight just to hang out with us and it was a good time. During dinner the conversation turned towards the usual subjects of dating and where the best spots were for such activities here in Orlando. Granted with all of our busy lives it was rather a short lived conversation until after dinner.
Being quite used to the internet and finding places it occured to me that I knew of a place she could use to find friends online at her convience and save the hassle of going out and running the risk of having a was of a time. FriendFinder has been around for a number of years now and the member base is huge. What’s even better is that it really isn’t one site for all. They have many specialized communities such as Jewish Finder and so on.
Her and I sat down and preceeded to the site.
After registering her as a new member, which was easy, we got to do some “searching” for new friends. The search results really impressed both of us as not only did you get to see a little about the people but you also got to see when the last time they had logged into the site. It always annoyed me trying to contact someone only to find out later that they never used the site. So this indicator weeded out the improbables.
Another cool features was the online now and chatting now features of the results. She did find some guys that she thought was interesting but refrained from chatting with them, after all she was over here to hang out.
