And she’s only 8
I came across a printout today that had the beginnings of a story on it. I asked around and Kel wrote it, or at least started it as a story. I find it remarkable
that she is so imaginative and has the writing skills. So here you go:
The Moon Spirit

There once was a little girl who always looks up to the moon and feels no happiness. And yet she feels her heart beat slower, slower bump bump, bump bump, bump………….beeeeeeeeeep. She finds herself lying on the moon. However, she could not be the moon maiden until she was true at heart. “I must find the moon man, my soul mate.” She stated. “The planets! If the planets align then as I read in a book I will meet my soul mate. It’s perfect!” “Oh wait, I’m trapped here.”

way to go Kelandra, I am her friend Rachel I know her from the bus we ride and I am really not surprised she wrote this it is so good and she also wrote a book called “The Haunted Potato Sack” or something like that but it is dedicated to me,her sister Abra and for some reason the masked magican but is is wonderful. she is so creative!
